Injection molding grades based upon thermoplastic polyamide 66 reinforced with glass fiber and impact modifier features a nice balance of impact resistance and overall strength and stiffness properties.
13 - 33 % glass fiber loadings are available. The addition of impact modifier reduces the "brittleness" aspect which is often associated with glass filled nylons making these grades fit for use in applications requiring brute strength and impact resistance. All grades have excellent chemical resistance and can be used in high heat environments.
