Wellman offers a range of injection molding grades based upon polyamide 66 resins that may contain a variety of non-typical and specialty additives designed to meet specific end use requirements. Silicone and PTFE combined with glass fiber and mineral reinforcements are used to reduce wear and friction while maintaining excellent chemical and heat resistance.
The family of resins can range from unfilled to 43 % glass fiber reinforced and are typically used in bearing and high wear type applications.
