Injection molding grades based upon thermoplastic polyamide 6 reinforced with glass fiber and impact modifier features a nice balance of impact resistance and overall strength and stiffness properties.
Nylon 6 provides a "resin-rich" surface finish so the glass fiber will not be as visible on the molded part surface making these grades suitable for highly cosmetic parts that require high strength and impact resistance.
