Wellman offers a range of injection molding grades based upon polyamide 66/6 co-melt resins that may contain a variety of non-typical and specialty additives designed to meet specific end use requirements. Silicone and PTFE combined with glass fiber and mineral reinforcements are used to reduce wear and friction while maintaining excellent chemical and heat resistance.
All of these co-melt grades exhibit high strength and stiffness normally associated with glass reinforced nylon 66 but also feature the ability to obtain the resin rich surface finish typical of glass filled nylon 6 formulations.
